Hi, it’s nice to meet you.

My name is Amy, and I’m an Atlantic Canadian who has called Quebec home for the past five years. My passion for the intersection between science, environmentalism, and society has been core to my identity for as long as I can remember, and led me to obtain a bachelor’s degree in environmental chemistry from the University of Quebec in Rimouski (UQAR) in 2019. I then completed a master’s degree in chemistry with UQAR and the Quebec Agrifood Innovation Center, all while trying to deepen my understanding of the scientific and environmental problems facing our world today through various science communication projects.

Periodically Green will explore environmental and scientific issues by communicating the latest research, innovations, and solutions to the questions that many of us have. The world might seem increasingly isolating and overwhelming, but through small changes we can collectively make a big difference.
